RegionsManagement Osttirol RMO organized on 11 December in #Lienz the inaugural Living Lab event for #Osttirol, which was a resounding success. Among the various topics explored, we delved into potential Demand Responsive Transport (DRT) solutions tailored specifically for the Osttirol region. The conversation was dynamic, engaging, and offered valuable perspectives on how we can enhance transportation services to better serve our community. We examined good practices in Demand-Responsive Transport, looking at successful models, learning from best-case scenarios, and considering proven strategies that could be adapted to enhance our local transportation initiatives.
In term of implementation, we explored innovative approaches, including the use of technology to optimise routes, improve accessibility for underserved areas, and foster community engagement to ensure the success and sustainability of proposed DRT solutions.
