The delegation was welcomed by Jenő Szász, President of the Research Institute for National Strategy, who highlighted in his opening remarks that, since its establishment, NSKI has devoted special attention to Transcarpathia, as reflected in the Institute’s European Union-funded projects focusing on the region.
The meeting provided an opportunity for the students to gain a deeper insight into NSKI’s activities related to Ukraine and Transcarpathia. Dr. Márton Péti, Vice President of NSKI and Professional Lead of the Bridge2EastCE project, first presented the Institute’s overall activities and project portfolio, placing particular emphasis on the Bridge2EastCE project, co-funded by the Interreg Central Europe Programme. This was followed by a presentation from Gábor Mozga, Head of Department and Bridge2EastCE Project Expert, who introduced the project’s objectives, its extensive international partnership, and its expected outcomes.
