On 19 May 2025, Carbon Farming CE partner No Gravity organised a round table in Bratislava to discuss the potential and further development of carbon farming in Slovakia.
The event brought together representatives of the Ministry of Environment of the Slovak Republic, NPPC, regenerative farmers, IZPI, which focuses on farmer education and training, and Carboneg, representing the financing perspective.
The discussion addressed carbon farming techniques, monitoring approaches, business models and financing, bringing together perspectives from policy, research, education and agricultural practice. Participants also discussed opportunities and conditions for the wider uptake of carbon farming in Slovakia.
The exchange contributed to Carbon Farming CE’s broader work on connecting stakeholders and developing approaches that can support the implementation and wider uptake of carbon farming in different national contexts.
