On December 20, 2025, our project partner Centar Ponovne Uporabe (CPU) hosted a special Repair Café event at CPU Ljubljana, bringing people together in a warm, festive atmosphere to repair, connect, and celebrate sustainable action.
Participants gathered in the spirit of the holidays to fix everyday items, share skills, and exchange knowledge — proving once again that repair is a powerful path toward a more sustainable future. The event was filled with positive energy, collaboration, and hands-on problem solving, reinforcing the idea that extending the life of products is both meaningful and achievable.
This Repair Café was an important contribution to the Circular WEEEP project and directly aligned with the project’s mission to reduce electronic waste, promote reuse, and strengthen the circular economy.
By combining community, practical repair activities, and environmental awareness, the event demonstrated how local initiatives can create real impact. CPU Ljubljana continues to serve as a vibrant hub where sustainability, creativity, and responsibility come together — one repair at a time.
