Project partners currently piloting new models and structures for transnational and cross-border sustainable development cooperation in the context of the mountain areas in Central Europe.
The idea of pilot actions is to change the stakeholders’ mindset towards more cooperation and coordination of actions and achieve long-term, sustainable cooperation. We want to create structures which will operate without dependence on the project cycles and EU funding.
Our pilot actions include:
- Improved cooperation systems in the Carpathian Sustainable Tourism Platform centres in Poland and Romania
- Renewed governance structure of the Alpine Pearls EGTC
- Improved institutional capacity of the Carpathian Civil Society Platform for participatory governance
- Strategy and operational model for 3 selected Cross-Border Functional Areas in the PL/SK/HU border of the Carpathians
- Mobile application for Cross-Border Functional Areas in the Carpathians (‘CBFAs Goes Digital‘)
- Sudetes Cross-Border Functional Area for strengthening cooperation of rural SMEs and regional products producers
