Demo Day 2 Concludes in Varaždin: Expanding the Conversation on Autonomous Mobility

Date: 23.10.2025
By: GINEVRA
The second Demonstration Day of the GINEVRA project successfully wrapped up in Varaždin, Croatia, building on the momentum of a highly inclusive and multi-generational kickoff. While Day 1 focused on engaging students, seniors, and citizens with specific mobility needs, Demo Day 2 shifted the spotlight to institutional and professional stakeholders.

Participants included:

– Academic partners

– Professional associations

– Business and innovation leaders

– Emergency service providers

Through real-life testing of autonomous vehicle (AV) technology, these groups had the opportunity to explore and reflect on how innovation intersects with governance, public trust, and strategic implementation.

As with all GINEVRA activities, the emphasis was placed not only on the technology itself, but on how it is introduced and governed—ensuring transparency, safety, and societal benefit remain central to the mobility transition.

Held in the heart of Varaždin, Demo Day 2 highlighted the city’s role as a living lab, where policy, people, and progress converge to shape inclusive and future-ready urban systems.
