Cross-border train around Lake Neusiedl running until August

By starting this direct railway passenger service on route Sopron – Fertőszentmiklós – Pamhagen – Neusiedl am See, from April 13th to August 25th, 2024, the goal of the GySEV Zrt. railway company is for as many tourists as possible to visit lake Neusiedl, which has been on the UNESCO World Heritage list since 2001. The trains, as the environmentally most friendly mass transport, are suitable for transporting bicycles and offer possibility to explore bicycle paths on the Hungarian and Austrian side of the lake.

This comfortable, air-conditioned low-floor train runs on Saturdays and Sundays, departing from Sopron at 9:08 and 15:08, and from Neusiedl am See at 11:33 and 17:33.

The tickets are offered at a discounted price, where 24-hour ticket costs 6 euros for adults and 3 euros for children (6-15 years), bicycles and dogs are free of charge.
