This activity was implemented as part of the CIREVALC Joint Action Plan (Outcome A5 – Transnational Matchmaking Event), aiming to connect stakeholders across the food, catering and packaging sectors and support the development of circular economy solutions.
The event brought together 249 participants from across Europe, including companies, innovation agencies and business support organisations, creating a dynamic environment for international networking and knowledge exchange.
CIREVALC was represented by project partners from Slovakia, Germany, Hungary, Czech Republic and Poland, who actively engaged in bilateral meetings and discussions with potential partners. The matchmaking sessions focused on identifying opportunities for cooperation, sharing experiences with circular economy practices and strengthening cross-border collaboration within innovation ecosystems.
A key outcome of the participation was the establishment of new contacts and the exploration of future cooperation in areas such as international networking, business events and support for SMEs. The discussions confirmed a strong interest in continued collaboration and exchange of knowledge among stakeholders.
By participating in the SIRHA matchmaking event, CIREVALC further strengthened its role as a platform connecting organisations and supporting the transition towards circular economy models in Central Europe.
