Innovative solutions tackling food waste, promoting responsible consumption and advancing sustainable packaging have been recognised through the CIREVALC Ambassadors of Circularity initiative.

The competition showcased inspiring circular practices from the food, catering and packaging sectors across Central Europe. Businesses, public organisations and NGOs presented solutions that reduce waste, make better use of resources and create positive environmental and social impacts.

A total of 22 applications were submitted, with 21 organisations successfully advancing to the international evaluation stage. Applications were reviewed by an international jury bringing together representatives from all CIREVALC partner countries, ensuring a broad range of expertise and perspectives from across the region.

Organisations achieving the required evaluation threshold were awarded the title of CIREVALC Ambassador, recognising their contribution to the transition towards a more circular economy.
