The CIREVALC project introduces the “Circular Bitespodcast series, a new communication format designed to bring circular economy closer to businesses, stakeholders and the wider public.

True to its name, the podcast offers concise introductions to the potential and practical business models of the circular economy, exploring the different viewpoints of companies and stakeholders in the food system. This Podcast is brought to you by the Interreg Central Europe Project CIREVALC which is funded by the EU.

All episodes will be gradually published in the Media section.

The series reflects the core ambition of the CIREVALC project: to support the transition towards circular value chains in the food, catering and packaging sectors by sharing knowledge, real-life experiences and practical solutions. The podcasts present perspectives from entrepreneurs, experts and organisations who are actively implementing circular approaches in their daily operations.

Across the episodes, listeners can explore key topics such as circular packaging solutions, waste reduction in gastronomy, and innovative business models combining environmental, social and economic value. The discussions highlight both opportunities and challenges, including regulatory frameworks, technological development and the importance of cooperation across the value chain.

As outlined in the CIREVALC Joint Action Plan, podcasts are one of the key tools to increase knowledge, disseminate good practices and support SMEs in adapting to circular economy challenges, while showcasing real examples from the field.

By connecting insights from different regions and stakeholders, the Circular Bites series contributes to raising awareness, strengthening collaboration and accelerating the uptake of circular solutions across Central Europe.
