After several years of collaboration, the Central Mountains project has officially come to an end. Bringing together partners from across Central Europe, the project focused on improving governance and strengthening cooperation in mountain regions through innovative approaches, knowledge exchange, and stakeholder engagement.
Throughout the project, partners worked closely with local and regional authorities, experts, and communities to develop tools, strategies, and policy recommendations that support the sustainable development and resilience of mountain areas. The project has contributed to enhancing the capacity of public institutions and fostering long-term cooperation across mountain regions in Central Europe.
