On 29–30 March 2026, stakeholders from across Poland gathered to discuss the practical implementation of carbon farming, regenerative agriculture and circular bioeconomy solutions. Organised within Carbon Farming CE and linked with the MIDAS project, the event brought together representatives of research institutions, farmers, advisors, public authorities, businesses, non-governmental organisations and innovation support organisations.
Discussions focused on translating carbon farming concepts into practical solutions that can be implemented on farms and integrated into agricultural value chains. Key topics included:
- advisory support for farmers;
- carbon monitoring and certification;
- data-driven decision-making; and
- cooperation and long-term partnerships supporting sustainable land management.
A key message from the discussions was that successful carbon farming depends not only on individual agricultural practices, but also on cooperation between farmers, advisors, researchers, businesses and public institutions, as well as trust and long-term partnerships across the agricultural sector.
Particular attention was given to the Central European Carbon Farming Cluster, established through Carbon Farming CE as a platform for continued cooperation, knowledge exchange and networking beyond the project. The Cluster supports the further use and development of project knowledge, tools and approaches and creates opportunities for new cooperation in carbon farming.
