On 18 October 2024, the Experimental Agricultural Station (RZD) in Błonie Topola, Poland, hosted a capacity building workshop bringing together farmers, researchers, experts and business representatives to discuss carbon farming and sustainable agricultural practices.
The workshop focused on practical topics relevant to carbon farming, including:
- the use of cover crops;
- water availability and management;
- organic fertilisation; and
- precision agriculture.
Participants exchanged experiences and discussed how these practices can support soil management, carbon sequestration and climate change mitigation in agriculture.
