The shuttle could carry up to nine passengers and operate for several hours continuously. Bad Schönborn stood out as the smallest municipality involved in the project, highlighting the important role local communities can play in European innovation.

During these demo days, the project also prioritized community engagement and social acceptance. Public response was highly positive, with over 600 residents participating in test rides. The initiative included training for first responders and a sneak preview for town council stakeholders on Tuesday, 15 April 2026. Great press coverage followed on Wednesday, 16 April 2026.

By the morning of Saturday, 18 April 2026, the shuttles had transported 333 passengers, ranging from 2 months to 92 years old. Among these, approximately 33 were walk-ins, while all others were preregistered. Additionally, 6 school classes from second to ninth grade visited the pilot, with four more school classes scheduled for Monday, 20 April 2026.

The Bad Schönborn experience illustrated how projects like GINEVRA contribute to shaping sustainable and inclusive mobility systems in Central Europe. By combining real-world testing, citizen engagement, and cross-sector collaboration, the initiative supported innovative  policymaking and paved the way for the wider adoption of autonomous transport.
