The SUSTANCE project started in April and we have already prepared a virtual event to bring you closer to the challenges we are facing. Therefore, we invite you to join the transnational online conference “Challenges and opportunities for public transport stakeholders”, on September 29, 2023. Under the leadership of the Central European Initiative – Executive Secretariat, the conference will bring together speakers and stakeholders from various paths with prior experience in cross-borders transport and connectivity issues. The event will also provide an opportunity to discuss innovative solutions for improving the connectivity of peripheral regions. The conference will be addressed by Mr. Valter Flego, Member of the European Parliament for Croatia and member of the Committee on Transport and Tourism and by representatives from the Ministries of Infrastructure and Transport of Italy, Slovenia, Croatia and Hungary. Mobility experts will present existing innovative solutions to improve connectivity and measures to improve accessibility. Policy makers will give you their insights into sustainable mobility and talk with managers from other projects about achieving a delicate balance in public transport planning.
