On 20 November 2025, the Health Labs4Value Transnational Conference took place at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia in Ljubljana, bringing together healthcare innovators, policymakers, providers, MedTech companies, hospital professionals and patient representatives from across Central Europe.

The conference marked the culmination of three years of transnational cooperation within the Health Labs4Value project. Participants explored how Living Labs and Value-Based Healthcare (VBHC) principles can support innovation in healthcare and improve patient outcomes.

A key highlight of the event was the presentation of five pilot solutions developed in Hungary, Slovenia, Germany, Poland and the Czech Republic. These showcased practical applications of co-created healthcare innovations, ranging from digital tools supporting rehabilitation and surgical care to solutions simplifying healthcare documentation and patient self-management.

The conference also celebrated the launch of the Transnational Health Labs4Value Network, which will continue to support collaboration, knowledge exchange and innovation beyond the project’s lifetime.

The programme featured keynote contributions from leading VBHC experts, including Prof. Sally Lewis, Hans Bax (MedTech Europe) and Dr. Mirna Macur, as well as discussions on the future of value-based, patient-centred healthcare in Europe.
