We are pleased to invite you to participate in the upcoming Scientific Conference on Enhancing biodiversity & interconnectivity by ecological restoration, taking place on December 5, 2025.

 

Organized under the scope of the ReCo project (Restoring Degraded Ecosystems along the Green Belt to Improve and Enhance Biodiversity and Ecological Connectivity), and co-organized with the Slovenian National Institute of Biology, the Institute of Marine and Environmental Sciences of the University of Szczecin and the University of Maribor this conference provides a platform for sharing scientific knowledge and practical experiences in ecological restoration. It focuses particularly on efforts that enhance the connectivity of Natura 2000 habitats and support species migration along the European Green Belt.

General Registration:

We will have contributions exploring:

  • Strategies that foster ecological connectivity, habitat restoration and migration enhancement
  • Approaches to climate change mitigation and enhancing ecosystem resilience
  • Restoration methods that safeguard ecosystem service provision

 

Submission Guidelines:

  • The application period is now closed, and the submissions are currently under review by the scientific committee.

 

Important Dates:

  • Abstract submission deadline: June 27, 2025
  • Notification of acceptance: July 20, 2025
