The NiCE project is set to share its valuable insights and outcomes at the 13th International Conference on Social Responsibility, Ethics and Sustainable Business (ICSR), taking place from September 3–4, 2026, at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics (BME), Hungary.
This year’s conference theme, “Responsible and Crisis-Resilient Spaces”, offers a forum to discuss the future of urban environments. On September 4th, the NiCE project will be prominently featured during the second day of the event:
Keynote Speech: Representing the NiCE project, Dr. Mariann Szabó (BME) will deliver a keynote address focusing on the intersection of urban circular models, circular society, and the role of various stakeholders to drive systematic change based on project experiences.
Roundtable Discussion: Following the keynotes, the project will participate in Roundtable II: Sustainable and Circular Cities, joining key figures from the Municipality of Budapest, the Business Council for Sustainable Development Hungary, and the Hungarian Association of Environmental Enterprises to discuss how circular practices can be effectively scaled from niche initiatives to central urban policies.
