WWF Slovakia, in collaboration with Slovenský Raj National Park, presented the activities of the LECA project and shared insights into the ecology and behaviour of large carnivores at a local public event featuring a farmers’ market. The event provided an opportunity to engage with local residents, visitors and stakeholders interested in nature, rural landscapes and wildlife conservation.
Through interactive discussions and knowledge exchange, participants learned more about large carnivore species, their role in ecosystems, the challenges of coexistence between humans and wildlife, and the conservation approaches supported by the LECA project.
