The TWINUP4CE project officially started with a two-day kick-off meeting hosted by the Business Support Centre Kranj in Slovenia. Representatives of all five project partners from Slovenia, Croatia, Poland, the Czech Republic and Hungary met for the first time to launch the project and establish a common framework for cooperation over the next two years.

During the meeting, partners presented their organisations, regional priorities and expectations, reviewed the project work packages and implementation timeline, and agreed on the first project activities. Discussions focused on launching the joint regional workforce skills needs analysis, exchanging good practices and preparing the establishment of Regional Upskilling Multi-Actor Alliances (RUMAs).

The second day concentrated on the next implementation phase, including preparations for pilot activities, the future development of regional strategies and action plans, communication activities and project management procedures.

The kick-off meeting established a strong foundation for transnational cooperation and marked the beginning of joint efforts to improve workforce skills and strengthen regional resilience in response to the green and digital transition across Central Europe.
