International Exchange Webinar

Online
Date: 22.04.2026 - 23.04.2026
By: CURIOST

The CURIOST project recently hosted a series of international exchange webinars, bringing together experts and companies from across Central Europe for an engaging and insightful online event.

The sessions were tailored to the four key sectors addressed by the project—construction and buildings, plastics, packaging, and mechanics and mechatronics—creating focused spaces for discussion and knowledge sharing.

At the heart of the webinars were the Creative Heads, experts from different countries who, together with companies supported by CURIOST, contributed to a dynamic exchange of ideas. Participating companies had the opportunity to present their business cases in short pitches and receive direct feedback, questions and fresh perspectives from the experts.

The sessions proved to be highly interactive, with active participation and lively discussions throughout. Beyond the individual feedback moments, the webinars highlighted the added value of transnational exchange, showing how companies can learn from each other’s experiences, approaches and challenges in implementing circular economy solutions.

As highlighted by Hanna Mayrhofer, Creative Head in the construction and building sector:

“I was delighted to have the opportunity to share our experiences from the re_use initiative in Linz as a Creative Head with companies from across Europe during the online workshop of the Interreg CURIOST project in the ‘Building and Construction’ sector. The innovative approaches taken by these companies demonstrate how the circular economy and sustainable construction can be successfully implemented and how valuable experiences can be shared across Europe. I wish all participating companies continued success and exciting progress on this journey!”

The webinar once again confirmed the importance of collaboration, dialogue and knowledge sharing in supporting companies along their transition toward more sustainable and circular business models.
