During the training sessions, after the introductory lectures, Dr Erzsébet Hámoriné Dr Kovács informed the participants about the general health problems caused by heat, the exposure of the target groups and what professionals can do to identify, prevent and treat health situations. Of course, prevention is also a major focus of this topic, i.e. how to prepare for the effects of expected heat days and heat waves.
The eight events were attended by professionals working with young children and pregnant women, the elderly, the chronically ill and people with disabilities, as well as representatives of outdoor workers and took place at the Széchenyi István Agricultural Vocational School, the Fazekas Gábor Home for the Elderly, the Napsugár Kindergarten and the Green Circle office between 20 February and 10 March 2025 with the participation of 36 participants.
