On 22 September 2026, the Małopolska Regional Development Agency (MARR) organised an ENRICH-US Info Day with representatives of the municipalities of Łącko and Podegrodzie, Poland.
The meeting continued the participatory process of the Interreg CENTRAL EUROPE project ENRICH-US, focusing on opportunities to improve cooperation and develop a more integrated eco-cultural tourism offer in the Polish pilot territory.
Connecting local assets into a shared tourism offer
The discussion highlighted the rich and diverse tourism potential of both municipalities, including natural landscapes, local traditions, cultural heritage, tourism routes, local products and community knowledge.
However, individual attractions and services are not always sufficiently connected or presented as part of a coherent visitor experience.
Participants therefore explored how existing tourism resources could be better coordinated and promoted across municipal boundaries.
Practical cooperation and digital visibility
Particular attention was given to opportunities for joint tourism information, digital promotion and stronger cooperation between municipalities, local businesses and community organisations.
Participants discussed how coordinated communication and improved access to tourism information could make it easier for visitors to discover attractions, routes, services and experiences across the territory.
Capacity building and knowledge exchange were also identified as important elements for strengthening local tourism management.
Building a simple and effective cooperation model
The meeting emphasised that the objective should not be to establish a complicated new administrative structure.
Instead, the proposed approach should build on existing organisations, resources and partnerships, creating a practical framework for cooperation that reflects local capacities and needs.
The outcomes will contribute to the development of the ENRICH-US territorial governance concept and help identify priorities for future pilot activities.
Through stronger inter-municipal cooperation, the project seeks to transform individual local assets into a more accessible, coordinated and sustainable eco-cultural tourism offer, benefiting municipalities, local stakeholders and visitors.
