As the Circular WEEEP project approaches its conclusion in March 2026, project partners will gather in Split, Croatia, on 11–12 February 2026 for the final project meeting, hosted by Public Institution RERA S.D.
The two-day event will bring together representatives of 12 partner organisations from seven Central European countries to review the achievements of three years of transnational cooperation aimed at improving the management of waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) and promoting circular economy principles.
The meeting will provide an opportunity to reflect on the project’s key achievements, including the development of the Strategy for Transnational WEEEP-CE Management and the Transnational Action Plan, supported by six regional and local Action Plans.
A particular focus will be placed on the results of the five pilot actions – WEEE Design, WEEE Collect/Market, WEEE Social, WEEE Lives and WEEE Aware – which have tested innovative approaches to circular product design, collection, repair, reuse, recycling and environmental awareness.
Project partners will present the solutions, tools and recommendations developed through these activities, exchange experiences and discuss lessons learned during implementation. Special attention will be given to the long-term sustainability of project results and their potential for transfer and replication across Central Europe.
The meeting will also address opportunities for continued cooperation beyond the project’s lifetime, building on the shared commitment of partners to support more sustainable and circular management of electrical and electronic equipment.
As the final gathering of the Circular WEEEP partnership, the event will mark an important milestone in consolidating project results, strengthening transnational cooperation and laying the groundwork for their continued application beyond the project’s completion.
