The festival aimed to raise public awareness about large carnivores and promote a better understanding of coexistence between people and wildlife. The event brought together nature enthusiasts, local communities and conservation organisations through a diverse programme including educational talks on nature and large carnivores, film screenings, guided hikes and a roundtable discussion focused on the challenges and opportunities of living alongside large carnivores.

Visitors of all ages had the opportunity to explore interactive activities, games and quizzes about nature at the information booths of WWF Hungary, Bükk National Park Directorate, ÉszakErdő Forestry Ltd. and BirdLife Hungary. The event also supported local communities by providing space for regional producers and artisans to showcase their products.

Key takeaways: The festival created an important platform for dialogue between conservation organisations and the public, helping to increase knowledge about large carnivores and address questions related to their conservation and management. Through education, interactive activities and direct engagement, the event contributed to building greater understanding and support for coexistence with wildlife.
