At the 2024 Climate Alliance International Conference in Cascais, Ready4Heat joined municipalities and climate action stakeholders from across Europe to explore how cities and towns could become more resilient, just, and liveable for the future.
The conference focused on practical responses to climate and social challenges, from nature-based solutions to energy poverty and data-driven municipal planning. In the Learn & Share area, Ready4Heat contributed to the exchange by presenting its work on local heat adaptation and sharing experiences from practice.
The discussions underlined a key message: resilience was not only about coping with climate impacts, but also about strengthening the social, economic, and political foundations that helped municipalities adapt over time. Through interactive exchange and peer learning, participants shared ideas, success stories, and approaches that could be adapted in other local contexts.
