In the presentation From Data Silos to Data Utilization: „Low-Code Open Data as a Practical Approach for Local Governments”, Daniel Yanev from DoorCE project partner aconium GmbH introduced DoorCE’s approach to making open data more accessible and usable for municipalities.
Our project helps local administrations by developing practical tools and guidance, including:
– an Open Data handbook with step-by-step guidance and best practices
– an Open Data toolbox based on open-source solutions such as CKAN and DCAT-AP
– low-code/no-code tools for data publication, metadata management, API generation, visualisation and dashboards
By reducing technical entry barriers, @DoorCE aims to support non-technical departments in publishing and using open data more effectively — and to help them create real value for citizens, administrations, research and businesses.
Many thanks to the organisers of Berlin Open Data Day 2026 for the opportunity to present DoorCE and exchange with the open data community in Berlin.
