After 30 months of collaboration, innovation and shared commitment, the GreenPATH project, co-funded by the Interreg CENTRAL EUROPE Programme, is reaching its conclusion. To mark this milestone, the partnership has released its sixth and final newsletter, bringing together the project’s latest achievements, key results and resources developed to support sustainable mobility beyond its lifetime.
Since May 2024, 11 partners from six Central European countries have worked together to develop and test innovative approaches to Mobility Management, addressing the commuting needs of students and employees across different Functional Urban Areas.
Through eight pilot actions, GreenPATH has explored how digital technologies, behavioural incentives, stakeholder engagement and practical mobility measures can contribute to reducing car dependency and encouraging more sustainable commuting habits.
What’s inside the Final Newsletter?

Looking Beyond GreenPATH
While the project is coming to an end, its achievements provide a valuable foundation for future initiatives. The strategies, tested solutions, training resources and local Action Plans developed through GreenPATH offer practical guidance for public authorities, mobility managers, universities and other stakeholders seeking to improve commuting systems.
Above all, GreenPATH has demonstrated that sustainable mobility requires more than individual measures: it depends on cooperation, integrated planning, innovation and long-term behavioural change.
The final newsletter celebrates the collective efforts of the partnership and the many stakeholders who have contributed to making sustainable commuting a shared priority across Central Europe.
