On 16 September 2026, representatives of the Central Mining Institute – National Research Institute (GIG-PIB) visited Prague-Zbraslav, Czech Republic, for a bilateral meeting with the local project partner.
The meeting focused on cooperation under Activity 2.2, particularly on selecting suitable blue-green infrastructure solutions and adapting existing tools and methodologies to local conditions.
Partners discussed the main challenges related to rainwater management, urban development and climate resilience, as well as the planned pilot action in Prague-Zbraslav.
The programme also included a site visit to several locations, including the proposed pilot area at a local kindergarten, where potential rainwater retention and rain garden solutions were discussed.
The meeting helped partners identify the next steps for implementing the pilot action and continuing their cooperation.
