Capitalization on urban water management solutions to increase resilience for climate change and to reduce the effects of Central Europe borders on solution uptake

Central European cities increasingly face both water shortages and sudden floods, yet proven solutions often remain limited to one region or country. Capitan Maurice adapts results from earlier Interreg projects to help more places manage rainwater through measures such as green spaces, water-retaining surfaces and smarter use of public areas. Six pilots will test these approaches in new settings. Their lessons will be turned into practical tools and shared through cross-border networks, helping authorities and utilities include water resilience in everyday planning and investment.
