On 16 June 2026, project partner IRR organised an ENRICH-US Info Day in Bystřice, the Czech pilot territory of the project. The event took place as part of a local community event organised by the Town of Bystřice and MKIC Bystřice, creating an opportunity to present ENRICH-US directly to local stakeholders, residents and visitors.

The Info Day introduced the main objectives of ENRICH-US, with a focus on sustainable eco-cultural tourism, participatory destination management and stronger cooperation between public authorities, local organisations, businesses, civil society and residents. Visitors learned about the role of Bystřice as the Czech pilot territory and about the planned project activities that will support local tourism governance and community-based development.

The event reached a broad local audience, including representatives of the Town of Bystřice, MKIC Bystřice, schools, community actors, local organisations and the general public. It helped raise awareness of the project and encouraged local stakeholders to take part in future workshops and participatory activities.

The Info Day represented an important first step in the local stakeholder engagement process. It helped present ENRICH-US not only as a transnational cooperation project, but also as a practical opportunity for Bystřice to build on its cultural heritage, local traditions, natural surroundings, events and community life.

The activity contributed to strengthening the visibility of ENRICH-US in the Czech pilot territory and supported the project’s objective of developing a more collaborative and community-driven approach to sustainable eco-cultural tourism.
