On June 24, a participatory workshop was held in Edolo (Italy) as part of the RAISE‑CE project, bringing together Regione Lombardia, local stakeholders and representatives of the local community.
The day began with a site visit to Edolo railway station, followed by the administration of a questionnaire to gather first impressions and needs from participants. In the afternoon, an interactive session encouraged open discussion and the collection of ideas on how to improve the station and its role within the territory.
The workshop highlighted a strong interest in making the station more accessible, functional, and welcoming. Among the main outcomes, participants identified the need to improve signage and passenger information, as well as to create a more comfortable and well-equipped waiting area for both train and bus users.
The initiative represents an important step in involving local communities in the co-design of solutions, reinforcing the role of smaller stations like Edolo as key mobility hubs for the surrounding area.
