The EnCLOD project invites students, innovators, researchers, developers, and citizens to participate in a two-day hackathon dedicated to improving public transport and urban mobility in the city of Debrecen, Hungary through innovative and data-driven ideas.
The event will take place on 20–21 May 2026 at the UD Innovation Center in Debrecen, Hungary, and will bring together participants interested in Open Data, smart mobility, digital innovation, and sustainable urban development.
Throughout the hackathon, participants will work collaboratively to develop original solutions aimed at addressing urban mobility challenges and enhancing public transport services through the use of data and innovative technologies.
The initiative represents an important opportunity to promote creativity, interdisciplinary cooperation, and citizen engagement while promoting the use of Open Data as a tool for more efficient, sustainable, and people-centred urban governance.
The hackathon is organised within the framework of the project EnCLOD, which supports local authorities in developing innovative governance approaches through digital tools and data-driven solutions.
