The study visit to Hungary (22–24 April 2026), organized within the Central-BIC project, brought together representatives of the Dolina Karpia, including local authorities, the Stowarzyszenie Dolina Karpia, members of the Education Council, and local entrepreneurs.
The visit focused on the exchange of good practices in managing biodiversity of inland water ecosystems. Participants explored innovative approaches during visits to the Poroszló Eco Center and the Hortobágy National Park, gaining valuable insights into environmental education, wetland conservation, and sustainable land use.
The study visit provided an inspiring platform for knowledge sharing, networking, and strengthening international cooperation. It was co-organized by the Stowarzyszenie Gmin i Powiatów Małopolski (in cooperation with the Stowarzyszenie Dolina Karpia) and the University of Debrecen.
