The TRANS-BORDERS+ partner meeting took place on 20 and 21 April 2026 in Seelach, Carinthia.
During the two-day meeting, project partners from the Germany-Czech and Austria-Slovenia-Italy border regions exchanged on the current state of implementation and prepared the next steps of the project. The agenda focused on the development of Regional Action Plans, the improvement of cross-border traveller information services based on Open Journey Planning, and the preparation of pilot activities related to mobility points and cross-border public transport services.
The meeting also provided an opportunity to discuss project management, reporting, stakeholder involvement and the upcoming implementation phase. Particular attention was given to the practical progress achieved in the pilot regions and to the transferability of project results to other rural and peripheral border areas in Central Europe.
The partner meeting was followed by a stakeholder workshop for the Austria-Slovenia-Italy pilot region on 22 April 2026.
