Guided Dark Sky Walk in the City Centre of Leipzig: Public Lighting between Nature Conservation and City Marketing
This guided walk explores the impact of artificial light at night on both the environment and human health, while also addressing the challenges cities face in balancing effective lighting with sustainability and urban identity.
The tour will be led by Frank Vohla from the Altenburg Astronomy Club and the non-profit initiative Paten der Nacht, which is actively committed to reducing light pollution.
