At the beginning of February, Kranj hosted the kick-off meeting of the TWINUP4CE project – Improving workforce skills for the twin transition in peripheral and rural Central Europe.

Partners from Slovenia, Croatia, Poland, the Czech Republic and Hungary met to exchange perspectives, align expectations and set the direction for the project over the next two years. The meeting created an inspiring and constructive environment to start cooperation and build a shared vision.

The main topics included:

– presentation of the project, partners and regional expectations

– overview of work packages and timeline

– launch of the joint skills needs analysis and exchange of good practices

– establishment of regional alliances

– preparation of strategies and local Action Plans

The project aims to better align skills with labour market needs and support the green and digital transition across Central Europe.

TWINUP4CE is co-funded by the Interreg CENTRAL EUROPE Programme and the European Union.
