Location: Venice, Italy
Date: 11.03.2026 - 12.03.2026
The GEtCoheSive Final Conference, held on 11 and 12 March 2026, brought together project partners, researchers, practitioners, and stakeholders to reflect on the project’s achievements and future legacy. The first day, hosted in Mestre, opened with institutional greetings and continued with two lectures by Ilaria Pitti and Andrea Felicetti, offering critical perspectives on vulnerability, disengagement, and democratic participation. A roundtable then created space for dialogue between academic and practice-oriented voices, before the conference moved into one of its most significant moments: the presentation of the local and transnational action plans and the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding.

The second day connected the conference discussions to the realities of the local territory through a guided visit of Mestre and Marghera neighbourhoods, organised in collaboration with local actors, followed by a visit to La Casa di Amadou and an introduction to its activities. Together, these moments reflected the core spirit of GEtCoheSive: linking research, policy, and practice through collaborative work and grounded engagement. The conference not only celebrated the end of the project, but also showcased concrete outcomes and shared commitments that can continue to inform inclusive local and transnational action beyond the project’s formal conclusion.
