During the event, BIOECO-UP project partners will present the most significant research results generated over the past three years. The conference will focus primarily on policy outcomes, including the bioeconomy vision developed within the project, CAP strategic recommendations, and the action plan formulated for the BIOEAST region.
The event is particularly timely in light of the Competitive and Sustainable EU Bioeconomy Strategy, published in November 2025, which outlines the future direction of EU policies toward the sustainable, competitive, and circular use of biological resources. The project’s results offer valuable contributions to the practical implementation of this strategic framework.
Beyond policy development, the BIOECO-UP consortium has gathered important regional experiences in business development and stakeholder engagement. During the conference, we will share how these insights can be leveraged to seize emerging bio-based business opportunities, mobilise stakeholders and citizens, and unlock economic potential in support of the transition toward more sustainable societies.
We look forward to welcoming you in Budapest or online. To participate, please register by 1 March 2026 HERE.
