The BIOECO-UP project’s final conference in Budapest presented the key achievements of the multi-year international cooperation and explored opportunities for putting the bioeconomy into practice. The event focused on the sustainable use of renewable biomass, the development of bio-based value chains, and strengthening cooperation between businesses and other stakeholders. Participants learned about the practical methodologies and tools developed through the project, as well as its results in raising public awareness and promoting innovative bio-based solutions. The conference also addressed policy opportunities, with particular attention to the role of the bioeconomy in the EU Common Agricultural Policy beyond 2027.
