PER-MOVE

Project overview

Sustainable and inclusive mobility for development of peripheral and underdeveloped regions

Peripheral and lagging areas often lack reliable, green links to nearby towns, which limits access to services and raising transport costs. PER-MOVE aims to improve urban-rural connectivity while cutting car use. Partners from three countries pilot e-bike schemes, demand-responsive transport and enhanced public transport, co-designing them with users and local authorities. Joint strategies and guidelines then help transfer the most effective solutions to other regions facing similar mobility gaps.
