Project overview
Enhancing CCI skills and knowledge in Advanced Technologies for more competitive and inclusive products and services
Rural industrial regions with strong cultural traditions risk decline as creative actors and firms struggle to adopt new technologies. ECLECTIC-CE seeks to renew these areas through creative-tech cooperation. Partners offer cross-border training and “learning by doing” labs where actors and students from the cultural and creative industries sector work with artificial intelligence, Internet of Things, robotics or virtual reality providers to co-create prototypes and services. Joint networks, toolkits and showcases help regions keep young talent, create new jobs and reposition themselves in emerging markets.

Roadmap
Context
The project focuses on lagging rural and peripheral areas: Bassa Padovana (Italy), the Radom and Siedlce subregions (Poland), and Nordwestmecklenburg (Germany). These regions suffer from low GDP, high unemployment, and significant brain drain, yet they possess a rich tradition of culture and creativity.
Specific Problem
Cultural and Creative Industries (CCI) in these areas lack skills in Advanced Technologies like AI, IoT, and robotics. This technological gap leads to marginalization, prevents the modernization of traditional industrial clusters, and discourages young professionals from staying in their home regions to seek innovative careers.
Idea
The core idea is to merge creativity with technology through transnational cooperation. By establishing focus groups and a joint strategy, the project aims to provide CCI employees and students with the "technology dimension" needed to transform traditional products into competitive, high-tech, and inclusive services.
Solution
ECLECTIC-CE will deliver innovative training modules and "learning by doing" pilot actions for 60 employees and 20 students. A transnational database will match these skilled CCIs with tech providers, while a long-term Action Plan ensures these skills are integrated into local vocational and academic curricula.
