The Study Visit in Bolzano and Padova on November 5–6, 2025, organized within the framework of the TeBiCE project, brought together project partners for two days of knowledge exchange, networking, and exploration of research and industry practices in the field of food processing and innovation. The visit included guided laboratory tours, presentations from research institutions, and meetings with local companies to learn about their activities and technological approaches.

The first day took place at NOI Techpark in Bolzano, where participants were welcomed with an introduction to the local research environment, followed by guided tours of several laboratories, including the fruit and vegetable processing lab, the NMR lab, and the food technology lab. After a networking lunch, participants visited the Fraunhofer Italia Research facilities for a presentation and additional lab tour, concluding with informal networking time before returning to Padova.

On the second day, the group visited Veneto Agricoltura facilities in Padova, where the TeBiCE project was presented and discussed. The program continued with two company visits (Terabona and ADAMI), allowing participants to explore aspects and challenges related to the recovery of waste and by-products from the wine and horticultural (radicchio) supply chains, as well as their potential reuse in cosmetics, pharmaceuticals/nutraceuticals, or for the production of biopesticides and biofertilizers.
