The University of Maribor, GRETA project partner attended the European Mobility Week, held on 16-22 September 2025 under the theme Mobility for Everyone. The idea is based on the desire of ensuring that all people can access sustainable transport means, independetly from their income, location, gender or abilities. The transport services should therefore be available, accessible, affordable, inclusive and safe, allowing all travel choices represent a fair option for everyone.
Since the GRETA project is working on decarbonizing the last mile of freight transport by piloting the use of zero-emission vehicles like cargo bikes, several inputs were provided during the mobility week.
The event was attended by more than 700 young people, who jointly explored opportunities for a better future for mobility and logistics in our cities.
By reducing emissions and congestion, we can make our cities cleaner, quieter, and more livable.
