On Wednesday, 14 May, during the board meeting of EEG Neudörfl, the cooperative and the HERCULES-CE project team from Forschung Burgenland signed a Memorandum of Understanding to deepen their collaboration.
The aim is to test the HERCULES-CE tool—a data-driven assessment tool for Renewable Energy Communities—within a pilot project. This assessment will focus on energy poverty and the integration of innovative solutions to address it. Based on the findings, risk management plans, recommendations, and a potential implementation roadmap will be developed to help shape a more socially inclusive energy community.
The results will be discussed and refined in three interactive workshops/events with EEG Neudörfl.
Following the board meeting, project representative Marcus Puchegger provided members of EEG Neudörfl with an initial outlook on the collaboration during the general assembly.
