Inclusive Communication with Tourists: Discover the Communication Cards from Gdańsk

Online
Location: Gdańsk, Italy
Date: 27.08.2025

How can cultural venues and tourism providers ensure that no visitor is left behind in communication?

Join our online peer exchange organised by Gdańsk Tourist Organisation and discover the Communication Cards – a user-friendly solution co-created with the Deaf community to support inclusive visitor communication.

Originally designed for people who are Deaf or have speech difficulties, and international tourists, the cards offer a visual and accessible way to ask questions and get key information at venues like museums, pools or public events – stress-free!

During the session, we’ll explore:

  • How the cards were designed and tested

  • How staff can use them at public-facing venues

  • How to adapt the concept to your local context
