Project overview
Activating the transformative potential of cultural and creative industries and sustainable tourism in boosting the twin green and digital transition for the competitiveness of Central Europe
Many companies lack internal capacities for transforming their business models to a more sustainable one. The Capacity2Transform project promoted innovative business support scheme that systematically help companies to adapt and bring more sustainable products and solutions to the market. Project connected businesses, training institutions, research organisations and policy makers into a supportive digital, green and creative innovation ECOSYSTEM and supported the efforts of CCIs to join the international digital and green transition value chains.

Roadmap
The challenge we started from
Many cultural and creative industries and sustainable tourism SMEs wanted to take part in the green and digital transition, but often lacked the skills, support structures and cross-sector partnerships to do so.
Building a shared Digital-Green-Creative approach
The partnership first mapped regional needs, existing competences and support structures across Central Europe. This helped create a common framework for capacity building and cooperation.
Developing tools and support methods
Partners co-developed training methods, competence measurement tools and support formats that could help business support organisations work more effectively with creative, digital, green and tourism actors.
Testing the approach through pilot actions
The Transforming Capacities and Building Bridges pilot actions tested the approach in real regional contexts, combining upskilling, peer exchange, co-creation and practical solution development.
Turning experience into transferable outputs
The lessons from the pilots were transformed into strategies, guidelines, compendiums and policy recommendations that can be reused by other regions and organisations.
Keeping the results open after the project
The project results remain available through the Outputs section, MediaFactory and KnowledgeFactory, supporting future capacity-building and Digital-Green-Creative collaboration.
