Circular WEEEP Hosts Expert Webinar on Sustainable Design and ESPR Compliance

Date: 23.05.2025

May 23, 2025 – As part of its commitment to advancing circular practices in the electronics sector, project partner Public Institution for Coordination and Development of Split-Dalmatia County (PI RERA S.D.) organized a focused webinar titled “From Regulation to Reporting.”

Led by Dr. Branka Ilakovac, an experienced EU consultant specializing in waste management and circular economy, the event provided producers of electrical and electronic equipment (EEE) with practical guidance on the European Sustainable Product Regulation (ESPR) and its implications for sustainable design, compliance, and reporting.

Participants from across Europe joined the online session to gain clarity on ESPR objectives and requirements, tools to align EEE production with circular economy principles, and insight into effective sustainability documentation and reporting practices.

Attendees also received a Certificate of Attendance, contributing to their official sustainability records, and were invited to complete a post-webinar questionnaire to help shape future guidance and activities within the Circular WEEEP Project.
