On May 31, 2025, an seminar was held by the Association of Polish Urban Planners – Wrocław Branch (Towarzystwo Urbanistów Polskich. Oddział Wrocław), featuring a lecture by dr hab. inż. Katarzyna Tokarczyk-Dorociak, a key expert involved in the URBIO BAUHAUS project.
The lecture covered the main goals and core ideas of the project, which focuses on integrating environmental and urban aspects to promote sustainable city development. Special emphasis was placed on:
biodiversity – its crucial role in shaping urban spaces that support ecosystems and enhance residents’ quality of life,
urban lighting – as a vital factor affecting ecosystems’ functioning, safety, and people’s well-being.The seminar also highlighted the importance of international cooperation among the project partners, who work together on innovative solutions for the cities of the future.
