HUMANITA’s first creative videos – Tuscan-Emilian Apennine National Park: Pietra di Bismantova and Gessi Triassici

One of the main challenges of the Interreg HUMANITA project is to develop tools, methods and strategies that engage the public in understanding the environmental sensitivities of protected areas. This aims to foster awareness through responsible and participatory approaches to conservation.

Among the actions promoted, the project aims to create recreative and educational videos to communicate the efforts made by protected areas to monitor and manage the impact of tourism. These videos will engage and educate the visitors while also providing valuable suggestions on how they can actively contribute to these efforts.

Eurac Research and the Tuscan-Emilian Apennine National Park created two (2) graphic videos showcasing the natural features of Pietra di Bismantova and Gessi Triassici, along with the preservation efforts conducted to protect their ecosystems.

A straightforward message, designed to reach a wide audience within a few minutes, aims to raise awareness about our potential role in protecting these environments for the benefit of current and future generations.
