🔍 During the meeting @SRM – Reti e Mobilità Srl, with the support of @GO-Mobility, presented the results of the preparatory study for the integration of DRT services in public transport and in a MaaS system. The study gathers the technical and operational requirements to be met to ensure interoperability between DRT services, public transport and MaaS platforms, and identifies data exchange protocols for sharing service information and managing bookings.

Participants included local authorities, mobility agencies of the Emilia-Romagna Region, public transport operators, and some of the major IT players in the DRT and MaaS sectors.

💡 The meeting was a fruitful moment of exchange and constituted a decisive step towards the final objective of the Bologna LL: defining the characteristics of an optimal DRT service for the Bolognese context and integrated into the local and regional transport system.

The journey does not stop here! The next meetings of the LL, which will take place by the end of June, will go into more detail:

📊 the analysis of potential and weak mobility demand, to assess the applicability and type of DRT service best suited to the context in which it is provided;

💰 the study of the cost of the DRT service and forms of integration into planning tools.
